Agomoni Run 2026 2.0 – A Celebration of Strength, Spirit & Safety

The much-awaited Agomoni Run 2.0 is returning to the streets of Barasat! Organized by Barasat Runners, this community-driven marathon is more than just a race—it's a movement that promotes women's safety, fitness, unity, and social awareness.

Get ready to lace up your running shoes and be part of something truly meaningful! Taking place on 4 October 2026 in Barasat, Agomoni Run is not just a marathon—it's a celebration of the spirit of Agomoni, a symbolic welcome to Maa Durga, and a powerful step towards raising awareness for women's safety. 💪🌺

RACE CATEGORIES & AGE GROUPS 

3 KM FUN RUN

Open to participants of all ages. No age categories. This is a non-competitive fun run and will not be timed. 

5 KM TIMED RUN 

Age Categories (Men & Women):

10–17 Years

18–29 Years

30–45 Years

46 Years & Above

10 KM TIMED RUN 

Age Categories (Men & Women):

10–17 Years

18–29 Years

30–45 Years

46 Years & Above

15 KM TIMED RUN 

Age Categories (Men & Women):

10–17 Years

18–29 Years

30–45 Years

46 Years & Above

Note: Age category awards are applicable only for the 5 KM, 10 KM, and 15 KM competitive races. The 3 KM Fun Run is a non-competitive category and does not include age-group awards.

REGISTRATION FEES:

15 KM – ₹599

10 KM – ₹549

5 KM – ₹499

3 KM (Non-Timed) – ₹399

Group Registration: Register as a group of 20 or more participants and get a flat ₹100 OFF per participant on all race categories. 

📅 Registration Deadline: 20th September 2026

Registrations will close on the above date or earlier if all available slots are filled. Participants are encouraged to register early to secure their preferred race category.

🏆Awards, Prizes & Recognition

Open Category Prize Money (Men & Women)

Cash prizes and Impakto Running Shoes will be awarded to the Top 3 Overall Finishers in the 5 KM, 10 KM, and 15 KM race categories.

🥇 1st Place : ₹3,000 Cash Prize + Impakto Running Shoes

🥈 2nd Place : ₹2,000 Cash Prize + Impakto Running Shoes

🥉 3rd Place : ₹1,000 Cash Prize + Impakto Running Shoes

Prize money is awarded separately for the Men's and Women's Open Categories in each race distance.

Age Category Awards (Men & Women)

The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers in every age category will receive Trophies and Goodies for the following races: 5 KM , 10 KM , 15 KM

Note: All Age Category winners must present a valid government-issued photo ID (e.g., Aadhaar Card) for age verification before prize distribution.

Ethnic Wear Awards : Celebrate the festive spirit of Durga Puja in style!

Top 3 Best-Dressed Participants – Overall Category (Men & Women Combined) will receive special awards for wearing traditional ethnic attire.
