Welcome to the 11th Edition of the JBG Kolkata Marathon

Get ready to be part of one of Eastern India's biggest celebrations of running as the JBG Kolkata Marathon returns on Sunday, 29th November 2026 at the iconic Red Road Maidan, Kolkata.

This landmark 11th edition marks an exciting new chapter in the event's journey with the introduction of the Full Marathon (42.195 KM) reinforcing its position as one of India's leading road races.

Organised by Sportiz and proudly title-sponsored by Jai Balaji Group, the JBG Kolkata Marathon is conducted in accordance with the standards and guidelines of the Athletics Federation of India (AFI), World Athletics, and AIMS (Association of International Marathons and Distance Races). The event also proudly supports the Fit India Movement, ensuring internationally measured race courses, professional timing, world-class event management, and the highest standards of participant safety.

With over 15,000 runners expected from across India and around the world, the marathon welcomes participants of every age and fitness level. Elite Full Marathon Registration

Participation in the Elite Full Marathon is by application only.

Interested runners must email their qualifying time certificate, government-issued photo ID, and contact details to sportizenquiry@gmail.com.

All applications will be reviewed by the Elite Race Management Committee. Selected runners will receive confirmation via email and will be invited to complete their registration. The final list of Elite Full Marathon participants will be published on the official event website.
