PATIALA RUN FOR ENVIRONMENT – 2026

Team Sports aims not only to promote fitness but also to actively involve sportspersons in protecting and nurturing the environment. Keeping our surroundings Green & Clean is our core mission.

We invite runners to come together on Sunday, April 5, 2026, from 4:30 AM onwards, to raise awareness about our responsibility toward today and tomorrow.

Let us prepare ourselves to make our surroundings Green & Clean before the rainy season (July–August–September).

This run is a step toward environmental responsibility:

• Cleaning water reservoirs in towns, villages, and cities by removing dumped garbage

• Creating new groundwater recharge zones

• Identifying locations for plantation of trees and bushes

• Developing protective shelters for wildlife and birds, ensuring minimal human interference

• 2 KM Fun Run Rs 999/-

• 5 KM Run – Chip Timed Rs 1499/-

• 10 KM Run – Chip Timed Rs 1599/-

• 21 KM Half Marathon – Chip Timed Rs 1699/-

Rules & Guidelines

• Follow traffic rules and direction boards along the route

• Run on the left side of the road, covering only ¾ of the road width

• Hydration points will be available at every 2 KM interval

• Do not throw bottles on the route—dispose of them at the next hydration point

• Please mention your T-shirt size on the ticketing platform during registration

• Participants are advised to consult a doctor before long-distance running

• Medical support will be provided only for transfer to the nearest hospital in case of emergency;

all medical expenses shall be borne by the runner

• Support and encourage fellow runners during the event

• In case of event cancellation or postponement due to administrative or natural calamity reasons,

no refund will be provided. Registration will remain valid for the rescheduled date.
